Delete Your Swipe Events Account

At Swipe Events, we respect your right to control your information. If you decide that you no longer want to use our service, you can permanently delete your account at any time. This page explains how to do it, what happens to your data, and what you should consider before deleting.
1. What Deleting Your Account Means
Account deletion is permanent.
All your profile details, photos, event history, matches, and chats will be permanently erased from active systems.
Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account to attend future events.
2. How to Delete Your Account
Log in to Swipe Events at swipeevents.app/sign-in.
Enter your mobile number and confirm with the 4-digit SMS verification code.
Go to Settings > Account Management > Delete Account.
Confirm that you wish to delete your account.
Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
3. Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information is permanently removed:
Your profile (name, nickname, date of birth, gender, city, photos, bio).
All matches and messages (both event DMs and post-event chats).
Event history and ticket bookings associated with your profile.
Your login credentials (Firebase user ID).
Your email and phone number (removed from user databases).
4. Data That May Be Retained
For compliance and safety, certain information may be retained in limited cases:
Payment records — kept as required by consumer and tax law.
Blocked accounts — if your account was banned for safety reasons, your mobile number may remain flagged in Firebase to prevent re-registration.
Anonymous logs — technical logs may be anonymized but cannot be traced back to you.
5. Tickets & Refunds
Deleting your account does not automatically refund event tickets.
If you have future events booked, please review our Refund & Transfer Policy before deleting.
If you purchased the “Allow Transfers” option, ticket credits may be stored on your profile; these are lost once the account is deleted.
6. Taking a Break Instead?
Not sure you want to delete your account permanently? Alternatives include:
Logging out of the app.
Turning off SMS reminders.
Skipping events until you are ready to return.

9. Final Reminder
Deleting your account is permanent. All data is wiped from active systems, and matches will no longer be able to contact you. If you are sure, follow the steps above to delete your account now.
